Been a long time... Sorry blogspot, as soon as I handed this project in, I was off traveling for 4 months. More of that later, if I am still awake.
So this was a Film Unit project, with Nosferatu the film as our text.
I really have blacked out this whole term as a terrible time of my life so far as far as being a creative goes. So forgive me if I seem dead or vague about this. I was well up for it before.
My vision was to full on embrace the expressionist art, especially Egon Schiele, and this black and white revolution of a horror film. Nosferatu was this dead, dark, earthy figure whilst Ellen was the literal light that made him feel alive. And it was in the director prespective of Fellini, italian fashion porn in cinema. So wanted to make this weird, confusing lifestyle as Avant Garde seductive ideal living. Use of paparazzi to emphasis on this idea of perversion, fame, light, curiousity etc.

Got to experience a lot of giving presentations, really loved this one. And I started drawing bigger, and now I have I will struggle to take anything under A0 seriously.
I didn't want a costume, I wanted a shape. Experimented with felt and paint. I'm not giving anything else away incase there's a sly bugger out there who wants to copy.

Wished I pulled it off, but I was having a breakdown and doubted myself 100% and it probably shows, but the group totally came together and we achieved in presenting a beautiful idea.
